Who?
Figurka Design is a small toy design workshop in Hungary, Budapest run by me.
I'm an ex-photographer. I have a son and a daughter. I was born under the sign of Taurus.
I design unique handcrafted dolls and other various creatures, not only for kids.
This is my hobby, my work and my life.
The story began in September 2007 when I bought my first sewing machine and made my first dolls for my kids and friends. A couple of months later I gathered all my confidence and made my works public at the monthly Hungarian Design market (www.wamp.hu) in Budapest.
And it was success.
Since then we have been participating in design and craft fairs besides running our online shops.

The dolls are
100% handmade so each of them is different and has its own personality.
Thanks to the premium quality materials we use our dolls are child friendly, durable, washable and sooo huggable. They are safe for small babies as well, since there are no removable parts and we use safety eyes and noses. We happily take custom orders.

How?
We have a productive cooperation with several social services of disabled people in Hungary. The employees of these Rehabilitation Centers participate in some manufacturing processes
with real adherence and love.
Our goal is to edge along this way and to connect valued design with taking on Corporate Social Responsibility.
